First Attempt at Fashion Blogging (Harhar)

April 8, 2010

So I was checking out the Teen Vogue website and saw the NYFW Fall 2010 collections. I noticed that it was mostly sparkles, neutral colors and metallics. Belts and high-heeled platform shoes completed most of the looks. But above all, all of ’em were attention-grabbing. In a good way, of course.

Here are some of my personal faves:

** 3.1 Phillip Lim ** Slightly ’70s-ish. Metallic silver slouchy top. Flared ivory trousers. Statement necklace.

** Tibi ** Luxe-Military look. Wool peacoat. Utilitarian leather pouch-belt. Neutral-colored dress with a sparkly middle.

** Isaac Mizrahi ** 90’s inspired. Killer leggy sparklers, as teenvogue.com referred to it. Something that Taylor Swift would most likely want to wear to next year’s Grammys.

** Marc by Marc Jacobs ** Metallic gold-colored. Rose-print. Thin belt. Ruffled tutu/hem.

** Suno ** Lively African-inspired prints. Bubble dress. The girl’s hairstyle is so… quirky. 🙂

** Proenza Schouler ** High-waisted && fitted pants. Graffiti print. Thin belt on the waist.
