Fontana Weekend Getaway

May 16, 2011

Day Two (May 7): The first few photos were taken during the morning when we went to the main building for breakfast. OMG, I so want a treehouse like that for my own estate someday! (I can dream, can’t I? Haha!) The other photos were when we spent the afternoon and evening at the Water Theme Park. I didn’t get to take a lot of photos while we were there because I was having to much fun with the awesome and cool waterslides! I was never the type, even as a kid, who was scared to ride those stuff. Really. 🙂

Confession: The last time I’ve been to a water theme park was when I was just about eight or nine, I’m such a loser, I know. And to think that Clark is just a two-hour car ride away from Nueva Ecija! But, oh well, better late than never, right?

Day Three (May 8): For Mothers Day, my siblings and I gave our mother a card which each of us wrote a short note on. It wasn’t much, I know, but I supposed our mom liked it for its sentimentality. Before we left, I took a few more photos of the scenery. After we checked out of Fontana, we went to Mimosa (another park estate-slash-resort in Clark, which also happens to be where our mom’s hotel is) to have lunch at this pretty good Japanese resto called Zen. And since I’m forever the sushie foodie, I ate a lot, and I suppose that it’s a good thing I’ve got a strong stomach since I never get sick of raw fish stuff. So yeah, I’m looking forward to our next visit to Fontana soon!
